.:The heavenly:.

There are also heavenly bodies and earthly bodies
but the glory of the heavenly is one
and the glory of the earthly is another.
There is one glory of the sun
and another glory of the moon
and another glory of the stars
for star differs from star in glory.

-The book of 1 Corinthians Chapter 15 verses 40-41

As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy
and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
And as we have borne the image of the earthy
we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

-The book of 1 Corinthians Chapter 15 verses 48-49

How great it is that we may become heavenly as dear children of God!

.:The core of The GospeL:.

"Truly truly I say to you
unless a grain of wheat
falls to the earth and dies
it remains alone
but if it dies
it bears much fruit."

-Jesus's words in John chapter 12 verse 24

Jesus is that seed. He died so He would not have to live without us.
As we follow Him, we become like Him.

The core of the beautiful gospel.

This morning, I awoke and in seeking The Lord as strangely as it may seem, went to YouTube in hopes of finding an encouraging video. On the front featured page was a video called Give Up Yer Aul Sins. So my question is, what does it mean to give up your sins?

How is it possible to turn from your sins and what does that mean?
If you turn from something, it means you are turning to something or someone else.
The simple truth. If you turn to Jesus, you are turning from your sins. We are capable of wandering which is how sin is possible.

Thus says the LORD, "Even so they have loved to wander; they have not kept their feet in check. Therefore the LORD does not accept them; now He will remember their iniquity and call their sins to account."

Jeremiah 14:10

Where there's a will there's a way. The will has to be great enough.
The Lord tells us exactly how through David in Psalm 119.

How can a young man keep his way pure?
By keeping it according to Your word.
With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments.
Your word I have treasured in my heart,
That I may not sin against You.
Blessed are You, O LORD;
Teach me Your statutes.
With my lips I have told of All the ordinances of Your mouth.
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches.
I will meditate on Your precepts And regard Your ways.
I shall delight in Your statutes;
I shall not forget Your word.

Jesus is The Word that He speaks of in The gospel recorded by John in chapter 1.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Do not forget Him dear friends.

The next morning I awoke to the radio speaking of children caught in trafficking and the call to go help. I know of the prayers of one dear friend who I believe were just of that. A reminder and a relighting of a calling.

in the days recently past i have an ear that is underwater or seems to be so... so i heard tonight about prayer and they prayed that i would be healed and have spiritual ears above all. i will lend The Lord my ear this night and see what He has to say about such things.

Speaking of praying together, Jesus said,
"Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven."

Oh, to pray in The Spirit.
